Join us for a bite sized version of mama.film’s Mise en Place/Mise en Place food on film program, in partnership with Odd Fellow Hall.
The afternoon happy hour will include two short films, paired with two small plates, two craft cocktails and conversation.
Borrowing its name from the French terms “mise en place” (the preparation and organization of ingredients in a kitchen) and “mise en scene” (setting the scene in a movie), join us as we discover culture, identity and flavor through cinema and cuisine.
Chef Bill Crites and Jimmy Vo will be behind the food pairings. Mixologist Wm. Cody Lonergan will be shaking up the cocktail creations, with an open discussion after the films.
